Shut Eye

Sometimes don't you just want to close your eyes? Why is it that the mere action of closing an eyelid can bring peace or calm? Are we really blocking out the bad stuff just because we can't see it? I'm not sure, but I know several times a day I like to sit back and close my eyes, close the rest of the world out, and just exist - inside myself. Sometimes you can see more clearly when your eyes are not open at all. Happy HNT!

    Sometimes when I drink way too much, I have no choice. My eyes just close on their own. I always hope it doesn't happen before I sit or lay down.

    interesing insight...no pun intended. I think closing our eyes allows us to block out the distractions around us and enjoy the silence once in a while

    hmmm I am at work and have closed my eyes... hopinh when I opened them it would be 5.. no such luck... LOL Oh well....just 2.1/2 hours to go... I am grateful I found your blog too... love your insight and stories.. have a great day!

    Looks like the eyes were the focus of a couple of HNT photos this week. And as always, you have wonderfully expressive words to go with the pictures.

    And yes, since you've been naughty you will get some handcuffs in your stocking this year. And maybe some sexy stockings to go in your stocking as well...
